Emergencies

If an emergency should arise, please call 911. Emergencies are considered to be those conditions that are life-threatening: loss of consciousness, severe bleeding, seizure, etc. In the case of minor emergencies (lacerations, cuts, possible fractures, sprains), please call our office first for instructions.

For emergencies call 911. If there is no immediate life-threatening danger, then proceed to take your child to the nearest Emergency Department, preferably at a hospital with Pediatric inpatient care, such as Rady's Children's Hospital.

For after-hours problems, most PPO insurance carriers have their own "Nurse Triage Line" available 24/7. For examples:
